Important Clarifications

Despite the US-8-60W model name, the actual available PoE budget is 48 W, not 60 W. The “60W” designation refers to the power rating of the included adapter: 48 V × 1.25 A = 60 W. Part of this power is required to operate the switch itself.

Ports 5–8 support only IEEE 802.3af PoE, with a maximum output of 15.4 W per port. They are not suitable for devices that specifically require IEEE 802.3at PoE+, such as access points whose power consumption exceeds the capabilities of 802.3af. The switch also does NOT support 24V Passive PoE.
