  • Important warning: The EdgeRouter X uses 24V Passive PoE, not standard active 802.3af/at/bt PoE. The eth4/PoE Out port is not a standalone, full-featured PoE power source: it passes through the power received by the router, and the available output power depends on the input power supply. When using the included 12 V / 0.5 A adapter, there may not be enough power to supply another device through PoE Passthrough. Unlike the EdgeRouter X SFP, the standard EdgeRouter X does not have an SFP port and does not provide PoE through all Ethernet ports.
